Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Michelle Ertl, PsyD is a licensed psychologist at UCEBT, specializing in the treatment of trauma-related disorders and sexual health concerns. She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University where she focused on the treatment of PTSD and the experiences of caregivers. Michelle completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowships within the Veteran’s Affairs system, gaining additional experience in the treatment of trauma. Michelle has received specialized training in a variety of treatment modalities, including EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD. She is additionally in the process of gaining specialized certification in the area of sex therapy and is very excited to be adding these services to her practice. In therapy, Michelle attempts to bring her knowledge of research-based interventions to best collaborate with clients in a way that meets their individual needs. She strives to build connections with clients that allow them to make meaningful changes in their lives. Currently, Michelle is accepting referrals for individual therapy with adult clients.
