Courtney Pflieger, Ph.D.

Post-Doctoral Fellow

Courtney Pflieger, PhD NCSP, is a postdoctoral fellow at UCEBT with training in assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders. She is particularly passionate about working with adolescents and young adults with ADHD and co-occurring concerns. She comes to UCEBT with a broad background working with children ages 4 to 18 and their families to address behavioral challenges, build social and coping skills, and explore the complex experiences that come with neurodiversity. Courtney completed her graduate training in School Psychology at the University of Utah and her undergraduate in General Psychology at Utah State University. Her APPIC-approved internship experience in Jordan School District focused on comprehensive psychoeducational assessment and the implementation of evidence-based interventions in the school setting to help students with disabilities, mood disorders, and trauma. Her dissertation research focused on intervention to support children with acquired brain injuries. In addition to her training as a school psychologist, Courtney has received formal training in Play Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT and Parent Training.
