Prolonged Exposure (PE) is a trauma-focused therapy that involves confronting traumatic memories in a safe environment to reduce symptoms and desensitize triggers. PE has been shown to reduce PTSD symptoms significantly, helping clients regain control and find relief from trauma’s effects.
