Dr. Stephanie Pirsig is a licensed clinical psychologist and independent contractor at UCEBT. She has extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan in various settings, including private practice, public schools, university clinics, community mental health clinics, and detention centers. Her approach to therapy emphasizes collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and accessibility. Dr. Pirsig integrates evidence-based practices to empower clients in achieving their goals while honoring their unique backgrounds, values, and resources.

Approach to Therapy

Dr. Pirsig takes a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy and assessment, focusing on understanding clients’ referral concerns, cultural and familial backgrounds, and personal values. She values collaboration in the therapeutic process and integrates evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in managing challenges and achieving personal growth. Dr. Pirsig is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their strengths and work toward meaningful change.

When she’s not working with clients, Dr. Pirsig enjoys spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, cooking, reading, creating art, and traveling. She cherishes quality time with her family, friends, and dogs.
