Social anxiety involves intense fear in social settings. Our evidence-based approach empowers clients to build confidence and reduce avoidance behaviors so clients can live full, meaningful lives. Some common social fears include giving a presentation or speech, being negatively judged by others, and being embarrassed.
We use exposure therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients gradually engage in social settings while building self-confidence and coping skills.
