Paying for Services

At UCEBT, we are dedicated to making mental health care accessible and transparent, ensuring you receive the support you need without undue financial stress.

Our Financial Advocacy services are designed to help clients navigate the costs of treatment, offering a range of resources and personalized guidance.

While we operate as a direct-pay center, our team is here to assist with exploring out-of-network benefits, sliding scale options, and other financial resources to make therapy more affordable.

Good Faith Estimate and the No Surprises Act

In line with the No Surprises Act, UCEBT provides all clients who are uninsured or not using insurance with a Good Faith Estimate, detailing the expected costs of services upfront. This ensures that clients have a clear understanding of the anticipated financial commitment before beginning treatment.

Under the law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy. You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider before scheduling any services.

If your final bill is at least $400 higher than the Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. Please save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for future reference.

For more information about your rights regarding the Good Faith Estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises
