Stephanie Taylor, Ph.D.

Post-Doctoral Trainee

 Steph Taylor is a postdoctoral trainee. Steph comes to UCEBT working with individuals interested in spirituality and religious exploration, sexual wellness, LGBTQ+ concerns, identity development, and social justice advocacy. Steph completed her graduate training in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. Her APA-approved internship experience in Counseling Services at Northern Arizona University focused on the implementation of evidence-based interventions in academic settings. Her dissertation research focused on how to best support those who are leaving or who have left a traditional, orthodox religion and how they have since cultivated meaning in their lives. In addition to training as a clinical psychologist, Steph has received formal training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed yoga therapy, as a victim advocate through the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault (UCASA), and in sexual wellness through the American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and Therapist (AASECT).
